National Hospital week was May 11-17 this year. In true Big Sandy Medical Center fashion, the week was celebrated with dress up days, special meals, activities, laughs, and memories. This year was extra special, as this is the facilities 60th year in business.
To kick off the week, Monday was "camping day." Patients and staff alike wore their favorite camping gear, participated in a plunger toss (kin to an axe toss without the sharp edges) and made S'mores on the patio in the afternoon.
