The Big Sandy Gun Club held its first trap and skeet shooting event of the year on Monday evening, April 20. Every summer, the Gun Club hosts weekly clay shooting get-togethers on Monday nights, generally drawing between 5 and 20 attendees, largely from Havre. The first shoot of 2026 drew a handful of participants, as many of the regulars had prior commitments. Attendance typically increases as hobbyists work the event back into their weekly summer schedules.
