The school year came to a close in Big Sandy with commencement exercises held Friday evening at the Community Hall. Approximately 600 people attended to witness the Class of 1926 complete their high school careers and step into the next chapter of life.
The Hopp School marked the end of its term with a picnic for students. Teacher Miss Dorothy Remington departed for Belt to visit friends and relatives following the school year.
