(Lewistown, MT)— In response to persistent hot and dry weather conditions, Stage 1 Fire Restrictions will be implemented starting at 12:01 a.m. on August 7, 2026. These restrictions will apply to all state lands, Bureau of Reclamation areas, MT Fish, Wildlife and Parks Region 6, and Bureau of Land Management lands, except for the Upper Missouri River Breaks National Monument in Phillips County.
