1/11 We kicked off the week in Chester, which was a tough night for our Lady Pioneers. Our C Squad, JV and Varsity each lost. CJI has a strong team this year and we didn’t show up the way we could and should have. The gym felt very dead throughout the night, which made it extra challenging, but we have to figure out how to bring the energy in those moments. Your Lady Pioneers kicked the week off with tough matches against Belt. JH “B” lost 13-25, 20-25. JH “A” lost 9-25, 8-25, 3-15. JV lost 16-25, 17-25, 12-15. Varsity lost 13-25, 14-25, 13-25. Belt has a really great volleyball program with tons of powerhouse hitters. However, we did not show up to play. Our energy was low and when you’re playing a team like that, you’ve got to bring it. It was another strong week of volleyball for our Lady Pioneers. We kicked off the week with a C Squad and JV home game against Power-Dutton-Brady (PDB). It was a packed week of volleyball action for our Lady Pioneers. We had 3 games in a row, including our first home game of the season against Highwood, a long trip to Hobson-Moore, and a next door matchup in Box Elder. It was a very successful week for both our JV and Varsity teams. We walked away with wins across the board! Our JV beat Hobson-Moore (25-11, 25-17, 15-11). They beat Box Elder (27-25, 25-20, 15-10).
