    Last week was an end to a busy month for the Fort Benton/Big Sandy wrestling Co-op regular season. Tuesday January 22, they competed in Belt, on Thursday January 24 Big Sandy High School was the home host, and a couple wrestlers finished up in Simms on Friday January 25.     On January 10th the wrestling team traveled to Fairfield for a wrestling mixer. Connor Schnabel, Dillin Geyer, and Hayden Axtman were 2-0 on the night, Colter Ball and Brock Hanford both got a win each at Fairfield. The team traveled to Choteau the next day January 11th- 12th for the Choteau Classic wrestling tournament. Connor wrestled strong and came away with a 4th place finish.     'The Longhorn/ Pioneer wrestlers traveled to Malta Saturday February 3rd for the Northern B-C Wrestling Tournament. Connor Schnabel won the Championship at 126 lbs. Landon Taylor finished 2nd at 152lbs. Weston Allderdice finished 3rd at 170lbs. These three wrestlers will represent Fort Benton and Big Sandy at the all class State wrestling tournament in Billings February 9-10th.     The Longhorn/Pioneer Wrestling team traveled to Belt on Tuesday January 23rd. Landon Taylor won all 3 of his matches, Dylan Darlington was 2-1, and Weston Allderdice was 1-1. On Thursday, January 25th the wrestlers were in Big Sandy to honor the Pioneer wrestlers, Seniors Weston Allderdice and Dylan Darlington, and freshman Dillin Geyer.     The Longhorn/ Pioneer wrestling team travel to Cut Bank Friday, January 5th and Saturday, January 6th. In the team Standings the Longhorn/Pioneers finished 12th out of 26 teams. They had three individual placers, Landon Taylor placed 3rd at 152#, Connor Schnabel placed 3rd at 126#, Hayden Axtman placed 6th at 170#.     The Fort Benton/Big Sandy wrestlers were at home for Senior night on Thursday January 21st. Fort Benton seniors are Connor DeBruycker, Jade Miller, Logan Taylor and Big Sandy senior Josh Solf were honored with their parents before the matches under the light.     The Fort Benton / Big Sandy wrestling coop has been very busy the last couple weeks. They have competed in Chester, at the Cut Bank Invitational, in Fairfield, and at the Choteau Classic. This week will be another busy week with the wrestlers at home on Thursday night 6pm in the High School Gym, then will travel to Chinook on Friday and Harlem on Saturday.
