This week, the Montana High School Association awarded Quinn Rodewald the Male Student Athlete of the Week. The honor is given to one male and one female varsity athlete every week throughout the school year. The Producer Partnership has completed processing of more than 100 pigs that were running uncontained in Phillips County. The animals were safely trapped and delivered to Producer Partnership’s USDA federally inspected, nonprofit owned and operated processing facility, where processing was completed earlier this month. As a result of this effort, a semi-load of 12,160 pounds of donated USDA-inspected pork is being delivered to the Montana Food Bank Network to support food banks and local communities across the state. “This donation rep...

On Tuesday January 6th we traveled to play Winifred, a former rival in the 8C who has now moved to the Southern Division. Winifred jumped on us early with relentless pressure on both ends of the court. We ended up losing the game 57-20. Bri Terry and Lauri Silvan led the team with 4 points each. On January 4th, 16 pinochle players showed up for an afternoon of six rounds of Pinochle. Roberta Whetham won 1st place, gaining her $25.00 with her score of 7630. Second place went to Dan Leader with a score of 7390, winning him $20.00. Our Big Sandy FFA chapter has been staying busy and involved in some fun and tough competitions. So far this year all kids have been working hard in their agriculture classes to prepare for these tough competitions such as the most recent one, Milk River Winter Districts in Fort Benton.
