Long-time Lewistown resident Joanne Marie (Main) Jenkins peacefully passed away on Monday, October 16, 2023, of natural causes. Joanne, 84, was born October 3, 1939, in Harlem, Montana, to John Main and Agnes Marie Packer. She spent her growing up years in Havre where she attended St. Jude's Catholic School. Dora Frieda Mahood, 94, passed away on October 10, 2023. She was born on September 22, 1929 to Anna Dallman Goecks Knutson and Walter Fredrich Goecks. The family moved to Grandpa Goecks farm out at Kennilworth during the Depression, but moved back to Big Sandy when Dora started school.
