Big Sandy's Solf headed to State one last time

The Fort Benton/ Big Sandy wrestling co-op participated in the Northern B/C Divisional wrestling tournament his past weekend in Chinook. Five wrestlers qualified for the state tournament this weekend held in Billings.

Big Sandy Senior Josh Solf finished fourth in the 160 pound division at the Northern B/C Divisional in Chinook this past weekend.

Connor DeBruycker had his best tournament of the year by winning all his matches and became the 145 pounds champion. Joining him at state is Logan Taylor, who placed fourth at 152 pounds, Josh Solf of Big Sandy, he placed 4th at 160 pounds, Matt Blansett, placed fourth at 205 pounds, and Connor Schnabel, also place fourth at 120 pounds. Landon Taylor placed sixth at 145 pounds after injuring his shoulder while wrestling back trying to qualify for state. Ethan Davis got a win in the divisional tournament but was also just short of qualifying for state. The wrestlers have been improving each week and will be working hard to be at their very best this weekend, trying to place in the state tournament.
