Happy Christmas from the Big Sandy Cultural and Curiosity Center.

We had very successful summer arts workshops thanks to Roberta Edwards, Jessica Jaramillo, Dolly Pursley, Carol Smith, Donna Jenkins and Kelly Owen. Soon with funding we’ll be able to install a heating system in the former S&J grocery store so we can finish renovations and operate year round.

For years, Big Sandy folks wanted to have a boys and girls club, and with our plans for an after-school program we’ll have our version complete with a research library, more workshops and after years without a movie theater, we’ll...
