The Big Sandy Pioneer basketball teams closed out 2017 with setbacks against the Denton/Geyser/Stanford Bearcats in both the boys and girls contests.
The kids continue to play hard from start to finish and are adjusting to new systems being installed by new coaches. Both the boys and the girls will take full advantage of the holiday break to improve and will be ready to go when they take the court in 2018.
Big Sandy will open 2018 with a home contest against the Box Elder Bears on January 4.
