Parent's Night for Basketball Feb. 2

January 30, 2019

As the basketball season is coming close to districts, the last home game is approaching. The basketball season has been going very well for the two teams. The girl’s team is being coached by Naomi Terry and the boy’s team is being coached by Thomas Dilworth. They have both done a wonderful job with their teams and are planning on finishing the season with a great turn out.

The last home game is also known as parent’s night. On parent’s night, the players give their parents, family members, and friends a rose for their appreciation on their support. Parent’s night is going to be a big turn out with Big Sandy playing against Box Elder. With all the parents and family members coming down for the game the Belize Ecology Group thought it would be a good opportunity to raise some money. The group is planning on making pies to sell at the game. People can also donate pies to help with the fundraiser. They will be selling the pies with ice cream and hope to make a good profit on it.

There also will be the drawing for the Yeti cooler and Scheel’s gift card. There are plenty of kids still selling the raffle tickets so make sure you go and buy one! All the Belize kids are very excited and are having fun with all the fundraisers. Hopefully, many people make it to parent’s night, to eat some pie, and to watch a good game.
