For the first time in Big Sandy the Big Sandy Library will sponsor a lunch program that coincides with the summer reading program. Librarian Darlene Cline wrote and received a small grant from the Chouteau County Community Coalition and the Back-Pack Buddies Program which will allow the library to serve a paper sack lunch for students in the reading program. They received enough money so they can serve 60 children lunch on Thursdays at noon. There are no restrictions or income requirements.
