Congratulations, Class of 2020! This is a great accomplishment; and although the year has not ended how you'd hoped, nothing can ever take away your education. You've earned it! We are so proud of you and cannot wait to see where life takes you! We asked the folks here some questions in your honor as their life experiences are far greater than yours and ours. May you take it to heart; enjoy their words of wisdom.

What advice would you give to the high school seniors?

A. If you have some idea of a job career after graduating, pursue all the angles first before signing any contracts.

B. Continue studying.

C. Get lots of education. I wish I'd have studied more.

D. Don't chase girls!

E. Don't forget your parents' advice.

F. Get an education like college, industrial school, especially the girls. They need some background to get a good job. Most waitress jobs won't pay all the bills of a family.

G. Continue your education.

What advice would you give to someone entering the workforce for the first time?

A. Keep in mind before going to work how this job will affect your taxes, etc.

B. Start at the bottom and work your way up.

C. Work hard, do the best you can.

D. Take your job pretty serious.

E. That's a real special time. You need to think about what your final goals are and do the work that will help you attain those goals.

F. Do some research before starting, if possible.

G. Get some experience with electricity.

H. It's a little scary, be yourself, be serious, and be alert.

What was the happiest moment of your life?

A. When I got engaged during my junior year of high school; and I married the "love of my life" 3 years later.

B. When we had our children.

C. When I got married.

D. When I got my old car running.

E. That could be a lot of different things...raising a family.

F. On a whole, my life for 50 years has been the happiest, not just one thing.

G. Getting hugs.

H. When my children were born.

What are you most proud of?

A. Moving into a newly built house on our farm and starting a family.

B. I've got pretty good health.

C. My children.

D. There's a lot of things I'm proud of, most proud is probably fixing cars or something like that.

E. Owning and running the deli and gift shop.

F. Raising two great kids and helping with grandchildren.

G. 30 years of continuous employment.

H. My children.

What are the most important lessons you've learned in this life?

A. By trial and error, you learn how to cope with adjustments with your family, etc.

B. Be calm.

C. Give your children your time.

D. How to speak my mind.

E. Doesn't matter how things are going, they can always get better.

F. Learning patience.

G. What you do comes back to help you or haunt you.

H. Mind my parents.
