Rotary's banquet was well attended after a difficult 2020

Finally, something a little closer to our normal. Camelot was held April 24, 2021, at the Big Sandy High School gym. The Rotary's District Governor, Sandy Mundahl, attend the banquet. Sheri Moore, president of Rotary, wrote to me, "(she)couldn't believe the outpouring of support for our community, what an amazing banquet we had, and the amount of people we had attending. She was excited to see all the projects we had completed or are working on. She had no idea this was what our banquet would be like and was quite impressed."

Colton Peterson won the $3,000 main prize, Aaryk Andrade won the North 40 $1,000, Jordan Schwarzbach won 20 yards of gravel, Jeff and Barbie Herzog won the Big Screen TV, Alice Yirsa and Thelma Hansen won the covered swing, Bob and Nancy Williams won the air fryer toaster, Dave & Debra Louvar won the Pit Boss Smoker, and Keith Tokerud the 1 Roomba. Finally, Cody and Tiffany Dehaven won the Wine Fridge.

Special Raffles: Sword in the Stone: Tammie Whetham; Safe 1 was not claimed by the keyholder, so it was auctioned off, and Mica Griffith was the high bidder; Safe 2: Tina Rodewald; Safe 3: Kendrick McKeaver

Brandon and Kristin Gasvoda won the Grand Door Prize of the Fireplace Entertainment Center donated by Valley Furniture. Heather Wolery and Shane Silvan won the $1,000 store credit donated by Tilleman Motor Company.

There were 23 door prizes given.
