We may have spring now, but cooler weather is forecast this week. If you have carrots or parsnips in the garden, dig and use them now. They should be very tasty.
As soon as you can, take pride in cleaning off any trash left or blown into the garden and haul it to the dumpster. Tumb weeds and plastic or paper seem to collect between shrubs and perennials. If weeds were missed last fall, remove them also. Deep mulches should be gradually removed from around perennials like rose bushes to let the soil warm up gradually.
