Big Sandy High School gymnasium will once again be bustling with activity on Friday, April 25, when the annual Carnival fires up. Starting at 5:30, skits will be performed in the auditorium as each of the high school classes introduces their candidates for King and Queen of Carnival 2025. This year’s candidates are: Freshmen - Landon Mebruer and Lyndee Worrall, Sophomores – Jaesun Yirsa and Harley LaBuda, Juniors – Travis Wilford and Heather Sherburn, and Seniors – Hunter Moore and Eva Yeadon. Coronation will take place at 9:00 in the gymnasium.
