The sixth annual Big Sandy High School Carnival proved to be the most successful one yet, bringing in a remarkable $684.44 for school activities. The Queen’s coronation was a highlight, with Hazel Flatness receiving the crown, accompanied by Joe Moore, who won the King’s title.

Local sports were lively as well. Harry Green and Floyd Vallie traveled to Great Falls to attend a prize fight, and the Big Sandy bowling team headed to Havre for a rematch. The M.P. Moe, M.S.H. Porter, and E.B. Newhall families were among those visiting Havre mid-week.
