Maxine “Midge” Edwards
Maxine “Midge” Edwards, 95, passed away September 26, 2026, at the Big Sandy Medical Center.
Midge was born March 29, 1931, on a farm in Traverse County, Minnesota, to Walter and Laura Geyer Petrock. She grew up with her sisters Marian and Dotti and brother Kermit. Her father died when Midge was just seven years old, leaving her mother to raise four children during difficult times. Midge never forgot her mother’s strength and remarkable work ethic, qualities that would become very much a part of Midge’s own life.
