Big Sandy Welcomes, Dustin Kinsella as the new Post Master

February 2, 2022

Dustin Kinsella is Big Sandy's new Post Master. He travels from Havre every day, where his wife and five children have busy lives. He has five boys, and they just adopted a baby girl. "My house exploded pink!" Dustin has worked for the postal service for 27 years, starting in April of 95. He has worked in Havre, Hingham, Gildford, Kremlin, West glacier, and Great Falls.

His oldest son is Bryce, 25, who gave him a granddaughter. His three other sons live at home; Lane is 17, Logan is 14, and Landon is 11. Their new daughter is Oreanna, who is one year old.

He thinks the "post office is a pillar" needed in the community because they "rely on us from everyday fliers, checks, Christmas presents that come through the mail. We have a very important job."

"I do my job different than another postmaster." Dustin believes it's in the name, The United States Postal Service. "We have to put service in there. Service is everything. I'm here to help."

When he first started as a letter carrier in Havre, Justin said, "I loved to meet people and take care of their needs."

"There is no tax money in the post service. I have to take care of the customer

to want to use the post office. Go the extra mile. Do the extra step."

His attitude towards his job is probably why he is so user-friendly at the post office. He will brighten your day.

He is, of course, a big Blue Pony fan, but as we talked, he realized he would become a Big Sandy Pioneer fan as well. He has enjoyed meeting new people and already knows he will love working here in Big Sand
