2024 Montana’s Next Generation Conference

Montana’s Next Generation Conference is on the calendar for Saturday, Jan. 27 in Shelby, MT. Montana’s Next Generation Conference is planning to be back up live and in-person for 2024 with an education packed line-up on Saturday, Jan. 27 at the Shelby High School. Registration for the event is available at mtnextgen.com.

The event will kick off with registration at 8:00 a.m. and opening sessions at 8:30. Online registration will be required by Monday, January 22 for the conference. The event will feature speakers from across Montana on topics that relate to producers of all ages and experience levels. There will be something for everyone including financial recordkeeping, succession planning and livestock and crop production topics.

The keynote speaker, Clint Fischer will lead the charge with three workshops designed to meet producers where they are at in the succession planning process. The conference will satisfy Farm Service Agency (FSA) requirements for production and financial management training. Pesticide points will be available for selected classes as well and announced prior to the conference.

Early registration discounts are available through Jan. 17. Final registration deadline is Jan. 23. Best Western of Shelby has a block of rooms reserved for $99.99 per night and Comfort Inn of Shelby has single rooms for $89 and double rooms for $94 per night. Participants should mention “Montana’s Next Generation Conference” for the discounted rate.
