Four Big Sandy athletes were recognized for their play on the court and on the field this past fall. The Pioneers headed to Augusta on Wednesday to take on the Augusta Elks. The Pioneers won 66-32 with four different Pioneers finding the end zone. The Ladies hosted their parents and handed out flowers for parents night Tuesday against Centerville. Unfortunately the ladies were not able to bring home the win. The Heart Butte warriors and their league leading rusher Chasen Kipp came to Big Sandy Friday night. It was a beautiful end of summer day with a harvest moon rising over pioneer field. The 2016 Big Sandy Pioneer football team finds themselves under the direction of first-year head coach Ronnie Simpson.
