Pioneer basketball teams fall to Turner, Chester/J-I

The Big Sandy varsity boys and girls basketball teams played a pair of District 9C games this past weekend against the Turner Tornadoes and the Chester/Joplin-Inverness Hawks.
Friday the girls fell to the Turner Tornadoes 62-20. The team played hard throughout and were paced offensively by junior Jaylyn Cline with six points, senior Andrea Rutledge added five in the contest.
