    The Big Sandy Medical Center has hired an interim CEO, following the resignation of the current CEO last week. Ron Wiens, an administrator from Shodair Children's Hospital in Helena, was hired for the interim position while the BSMC Board of Directors advertise and begin a search for a permanent CEO.     The Big Sandy Senior Center Board has hired a cook, Robin Coyler, for the center with an opening date of August 1st, hopefully. Robin formally worked for the Big Sandy nursing home and needed to give them time to hire a new cook. At the last meeting, the members discussed meal tickets. They have been found.     With only a dozen swimmers competing, the Barracudas were small in numbers but big in heart as they tallied up 299 points for their fifth place finish in Columbia Falls.     2 years and 15 days shy of achieving his goal of living to be 100 years old, Clarence Allan Pursley was called home to Jesus on July 1, 2022. He was born to James and Mildred (Rickert) Pursley on July 16, 1933. His childhood was filled with daring escapades with his brother, Aaron "Duke" Pursley on their family's ranch in Big Sandy, Montana. At times, the Pursley boys were a handful.     On the evening of June 19, 2022, Boyd Elton Romine died at the age of 90. Boyd was born on August 18, 1931, in Rugby, North Dakota to William and Melvie Romine. In 1951, Boyd joined the Army and spent two years in the service and was stationed in Okinawa. He received his Bachelor of Science from the Minot State Teachers College in 1956 and his Master's Degree from the University of North Dakota in 1962. Boyd married Judy Momerak in June of 1957.
