At the recent city council meeting I was informed that a business has closed its doors to full-time operation. I received the following information from a letter from Mountain View CO-OP'S Nate Fairbanks: "Effective October 1, 2023 Mountain View Co-op has made the decision to transition the Big Sandy location from a full-time operation to a season Agronomy operations facility. I was to assure you that our priority is still to provide you with the products and services that you've become...

  • Pioneer pounded the Titans

    Oct 11, 2023

Last week the Predictor said Big Sandy would lose. The Pioneer football team was supposed to have a “hard time beating” the Dutton-Brady Titans. Coach Tucker Taylor said, “The boys finally put together a full team effort in the victory over power. It was good to see the team perform well in an important game. We’ll need those same efforts in the coming weeks.” The Pioneers started t...

While we still have plenty to improve on, I'm excited about where we are at. We only have 3 matches left, before tournament time! We are...

But as I got older, it made more and more sense to me. One line that I understood early on, but have grown to appreciate as containing all kinds of depth is, “Give us this day our daily bread.” When I was little, I believed I was praying for God to make sure we had food to eat every day. It’s the most straight forward way to understand the prayer and it makes sense. We should ask God to make sure...
