In 2015 and 2016 Alvin Bitz hit a bunch of landmarks. He and his wife Dee celebrated their fiftieth Wedding Anniversary on September18, 2015. On Tuesday, March 22nd the Board of Trustees spent time at the regularly scheduled meeting reviewing the preliminary budget for the 2016-17 school year. Next year’s budget is unique as it marks the first year that Big Sandy Schools will be operating as one K-12 district instead of a separate high school and elementary district. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the number one chronic disease among children is tooth decay, Montana state health officials said today. Since last August Sharon Robertson has been the sky pilot for the Methodists in the Big Sandy area. Robertson is a very good fit for Methodists in this area since she has been attending the church since she was a freshman in high school.
