This year's Medical Guild Rummage Sale was a huge success. Rough count says they made more money than before. More people attended this year and they came from Havre, The Hutterite Colony, Box Elder, Rocky Boy, and Seattle Washington. The weather was really nice. Marilyn Lund passed away on September 30, 2018 after a lengthy battle with cancer. A memorial service is being planned for a later date. She and her husband Ben, of 55 years, raised their three children: Paul, Mark (Krista), and Karen on their Chouteau county farms at Big Sandy and Geraldine. The Big Sandy Pioneer football team picked up a big win over the weekend as they defeated the Denton/Geyser/Stanford Bearcats 66-31 in a Northern C Six-man contest. The Bearcats came into the contest with a 4-0 conference mark and an overall record of 4-1. The Pioneers stood at 3-2 but both losses came against highly ranked opponents early in the season. The Big Sandy Pioneer volleyball team hosted the North Start Knights on Saturday. North Star took control early in the match, taking the opening set 25-15.
