This was a new experience for the Barracuda swimmers, as the majority of the competitors are year-round competitors. Melanie Schwarzbach loves running herself. While she was in high school and during her freshman year at Concordia, she ran the sprints and hurdles. It wasn't until she was an adult that she embraced distance running. Melanie has coached track for 20 years and is the track coach again this year. The Pioneer girls and boys varsity basketball teams faced the Longhorns in Fort Benton on Friday and hosted the Chinook Sugarbeeters on Saturday.
