The Big Sky State Games swimming competition was held this last weekend in Billings. Six of the Big Sandy Swim Team members competed for their first time at the state games. This was a new experience for the Barracuda swimmers, as the majority of the competitors are year-round competitors. Melanie Schwarzbach loves running herself. While she was in high school and during her freshman year at Concordia, she ran the sprints and hurdles. The Pioneer girls and boys varsity basketball teams faced the Longhorns in Fort Benton on Friday and hosted the Chinook Sugarbeeters on Saturday.
